First Machine Learning and language modeling workshop a success!

Last Wednesday on March 20, 2024, the first Machine Learning and Language Models workshop was held. During the workshop, participants were introduced to the concepts within Machine Learning and language models. Erik Kentie gave an introduction to the topic and stressed the importance of a business case to get started with Machine Learning and language modeling. Monica Rotulo then outlined further background, developments and some great use cases for inspiration which created a lively interaction. Finally, Roald Teunissen of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam gave a look at how sensor data are collected and stored. This appealed, because it is a topic that concerns many entrepreneurs.

The next workshop is on April 18 where we will zoom in further on the (language) model, and the demonstrator set up for this purpose. We will also then talk a little more about the Dutch language model GPT-NL.
