We’re thrilled to introduce our keynote speaker for Advanced Computing User Day 2023:
Henne Holstege, a leading expert in Alzheimer’s disease research!
Henne Holstege, Associate Professor at Amsterdam UMC and Head of the Genomics of Neurodegenerative Diseases and Aging section in the Department of Human Genetics, has dedicated her career to unraveling the genetic underpinnings of Alzheimer’s disease. Her journey began with biochemistry studies at the University of Leiden, leading her to Harvard University to investigate the molecular mechanisms of satiety and the role of genetics.
Dr. Holstege’s pioneering work involves large-scale international collaborative analyses of sequencing data from thousands of Alzheimer’s cases and cognitively healthy individuals. Her lab’s focus spans the entire cognitive spectrum, aiming to contribute to a future with reduced dementia.
Join us at Advanced Computing User Day 2023 to gain profound insights into her Alzheimer’s research.
From now on, you can register for Advanced Computing User Day on 7 December at Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam.
