Business Development Manager

Erik is Business Development Manager at SURF Innovation and is involved in developing the public-private ecosystem in the Netherlands and Europe. His focus encompasses several sectors and domains such as Smart Industry, Agriculture, Health, Energy, Water, and Logistics.

On a national level, he is involved in the Dutch AI coalition and the Datasharing coalition. Internationally, he works on initiatives like Gaia-X and the European Digital Hubs. His main ouput is launching experiments and proofs of concept in which SMEs, corporates, universities, and knowledge institutes collaborate to understand what new digital technologies can mean for their businesses and markets.
